Tough times often teach us a lot of things. Life is not always about the cherishing moments, it is also about hardships. The happy moments can be celebrated but the hard times are to be faced with a lot of courage.
The current Corona pandemic has left the whole world in a very problematic situation. The virus has taken lives of so many innocent people and there are still many who are fighting from it.
The lockdown and pandemic has also taught us a many things. It has taught us the importance of loved ones. It has taught us the value of home. It has taught us how hard it can be to work in these conditions. It has taught us the value of the corona warriors. The situation has taught us a lot of lessons.
But this situation, where everyone is locked inside their homes, many of us have learned a lot of skills as well. At least, I have.
This situation has taught me how grateful I am to at least have a roof over my head and proper food to eat. Many people out there are struggling for basic necessities. I have learned, that it can be so good to spend more time with the family. The laughs, the games, the moments together can actually light up one's mood. I have learnt new cooking recipes. The online classes have taught me the real importance of the classroom education. This time has taught me how important it is to go out from the house and breathe the fresh air. The times when there was no risk out there, we use to be lazy and sneak a day off to just chill at home. But now, we want to just go out and have a vibe of travelling. I have learned that we humans have been degrading nature from a long time. Now, since we are locked, the nature is free and is healing itself.
The last two months have brought a lot of changes in me as a human being. I have promised myself to value everything in my life from now onwards. I have promised myself to learn new skills everytime I can. I have promised myself to help the nature and I have promised myself to help the needy whenever and wherever possible.
Not only me, but we all have to take lessons from this tough time. This time will pass soon and everything will be alright. We just need to be united and strong.
