THRISSUR: The severe dip in rainfall have triggered off fears of acute scarcity of water for drinking and agricultural purpose in the ensuing summer in Thrissur.
According to the data available at the Kerala Agriculture University's (KAU) weather station at Vellanikkara near here there was over 48 per cent dip in the rainfall in the current south east monsoon (Kalavarsham in the local parlance) till Tuesday in Thrissur. The situation could turn grim if the north east monsoon (Kalavarsham) also fails, according to meteorologists and engineers associated with the Irrigation department and Kerala Water Authority (KWA).

as we know that if we not get anything in proper manner we feel its scarcity i m talking about our body and in the same manner if there be low rainfall it will bring scarcity of water on earth
