HEY MATE HERE IS UR ANSWER :-

To understand that first you will have to understand what is empty space and how particle gain mass.
Empty space isnt really empty. Its has its own property and every single time it creates virtual parties which don't stay much long. This process keeps running in an empty space.
Now how particle gain mass! Inside a proton you will get quarks which cause the mass of a proton. But quarks belongs to an empty space. Means inside a proton or electron there are empty space which continuously produces virtual particles that gives the quarks mass. So mass it slef is a out come of empty space.
This phenomena works inside the higgs field. So this is how particle gain mass and you get matter.
