India is a land of agriculture and the majority of the country is dependent on it not just for food but also for their livelihoods.
Monsoon season and rain have a direct impact on crops, especially in areas without irrigation systems. Over the last several thousands years, the life of the common man has been dependent on the monsoon season, crops which has an effect on day to day life, giving life to a unique culture in India shared by many people across cities, villages and states.

Mutual need for food, crops, and a seasonal effect brought people together to develop and improve their lives. This culture still survives and thrives in many parts of India brining a sense of unity and belonging
