The Monsoon regime gives unity to India because the peninsular plateau has the temperature which is moderate so it acts as a factor which helps in unifying because it is connected from three sides of the sea. Because of the alteration in the seasons in India, the wind system is also a rhythmic cycle of seasons and these winds are responsible for providing water to the agricultural activities. And there are some rivers which carry this water for the agricultural purposes they unite as a single river valley unit.

Explanation:
Right across the country, cultivation of crops is dependent on the monsoon season and the extent of rainfall, whether it be paddy, jute or tea. Even though a lot of fruits, vegetables and crops are grown in the other seasons, the main source of water continues to be the monsoon rains. The water thus available ensures that our rivers, ponds and canals are filled to capacity for use in the other seasons. A good monsoon thus ensures food sufficiency and is a big unifying force for our people.
