A very nice question. National Aeronautics and Space Administration has helped us to know about our universe. It has sent many missions, satellites, built space stations and also sent men to moon to gather information about the space. Today, whatever you and me and all know about space was due to the NASA's efforts. Everyday even now at this moment research is going on in different laboratories.
