The Professor is a satirical poem which is written in the form of conversation between a professor & his student.Here a professor makes a fun of himself that he should be proper in his subject he teaches,but,he is a mock because of his behavior.He speaks but listener doesn't say a word.The poem is composed of Indians English & the poet mocks Indians who finds it prestigious to speak English,even when they are not so good in that.
