There are several policies of colonial Government responsible for poverty in India such as they overused and exploited the rich natural resources of India exporting most of the them for making huge profit, making the country and countrymen poorer day by day.
If I am made the Prime Minister of India at first I will make sure that every citizen of my country receives the basic necessities like food, clean water and shelter.
Free and compulsory education should be started. Every healthy individual should be able to work.
