Higher temperatures cause the plant cells which control the openings (stoma) where water is released to the atmosphere to open, whereas colder temperatures cause the openings to close. Relative humidity: As the relative humidity of the air surrounding the plant rises the transpiration rate falls.

Evaporation and diffusion are faster at higher temperatures. So the rate of transpiration increases with the increase in temperature.
Diffusion of water vapour out of the leaf slows down if the leaf is already surrounded by moist air. So transpiration rate decreases with the presence of humidity.
