Slaked lime is nothing but the Ca(OH) 2 . It is very less soluble in water.It do not take part in any reaction with water. It produce a prolongation while water is added to it.If the slaked lime is already prolonged then dilution to the suspension occurred. Slaked lime is only 0.185% soluble in water.
