how the respiration is an exothermic reaction? please answer

HI FRIEND....
During respiration, glucose molecules are converted to other molecules in a series of steps. They finally end up as carbon dioxide and water. The reactionis exothermic because the C=O and O-H bonds in the products are so much more stable than the bonds in the reactants.

when we respire out the air is hot and so it is an exothermic change the air is hot due to travelling through our body and picking up heat while doing so.
