Force is directionally proportional to masses of objects and inversely proportional to distance between them when we equate them we put the gravitational constant G (value=6.67×10^-11 Nm^2 Kg^2).
By bringing G on left hand side and by interchanging numerator and denominator and by substituting the SI units we will get the SI unit of G.
Don't be confused and make sure that there's difference between g and G.
