The amount of urine produced depends on the amount of excess water and dissolved wastes present in the body. Some other factors such as habitat of an organism and hormone such as Anti-diuretic hormone (ADH) also regulatesthe amount of urine produced.

Urine is made up of water,salts,urea and a very less percentage of uric acid.

Urea is formed in the liver but excreted by the kidney.

The kidney has very minute structures called nephrons which are the unit of kidney.

These nephrons are responsible for urine formation.

Each of our kidney has millions of nephrons.
