Vaccines are the biological preparations of dead or weakened disease causing microbes. When we take vaccines the immune system in our body detects them and starts preparing antibodies. These antibodies live for a long time in our body hence they can easily detect the micro organisms and destroy them. This prevents disease causing bacterias to affect our body easily. They act as an armour and give us a string immune to fight these diseases.
