As the acceleration due to gravity ( g ) on moon is 1/6th times less than the (g) on earth, the body on moom will be 1/6th times lighter than the body on earth.

formula :-

weight (w) = mass (m) × (g)

1/6 × weight on earth = (g of moon ) × mass

or

u can multiply 1/6 × g of earth , and the value which comes is the value of g on moon . now to find the weight on moon , multiply that 1/6×g × mass of the body to get the weight on moon.
