Wind blows from the higher pressure to lower pressure.
So a place where there is lower pressure, wind will blow towards it.
And thus how wind blows....
Hope it helps....

since the earth is rotating...the air does not flow directly from high to low pressure...but it is deflected towards right..in the Northern Hemisphere; to the left in the Southern Hemisphere), so that the wind flows mostly around the high and low pressure areas.....
hope it helps
