Explanation:

Mirrors are made by the reaction of iron oxide and aluminum. The aluminium displaces iron and forms aluminum oxide. Then ammonia is added to it and aluminium oxide bonds with it. This gives a shiny outlook to the mirror that helps in formation of images on mirror.
