the header is used in top of the page and footer is used bottom of the page

•the header information is followed in all Pages at the top

•the footer information is followed in all Pages at the bottom

•first click on view menu in the mean bar from MS WORD

•then we see a list in that select header and footer and click on it

•it display one text box in that type text for header

•in text box what you want to keep the heading of the document type in header

•it appear in the top of the page

•and follow the same process to type the footer

Click INSERT > Header & Footer.

On the Slide tab, check Footer.

In the box below Footer, type the text that you want, such as the presentation title.

Check Date and time to add that to your slides.

Check Slide number to add that to your slides.

To stop the footer from appearing on the title slide, check Don't show on title slide.

Click Apply to All. Or, if you want the footer information only on the selected slide, click Apply instead of Apply to All.
