Well, you don't have that option is Brainly's app, but you have the feature is available in Brainly.in, that is when opened using a search engine like Google, etc. You just go to someone's profile, where you'll find the 'Add friend' option, click on it and an invite will be sent. Depends on them whether they accept it or not, so you can't trouble them regarding that.
