It’s long but read it once , it can surely help you.
Strictly Speaking TIME MANAGEMENT is the only way you can do 90+ . Especially for Hindi 100 marks in 3 hours is really a big deal. Make sure you do your paper fully.
Section A consists of a Passage and a poem. Passage is short and simple. Here look for last 2–3 questions from grammar part like upsarg , pratya , vakya rachna and pehchan, samas are most common. They can easily score you 3–4 marks . You must be familiar with rules of samas and other things and read upsarg-pratya from any book , they are asked repeatedly. The Poem here is little twsited. Read it once twice 5 times to get clear understand.Look for double meaning and symbolism. Even if you understand it fully questions can be little tricky. Apart from grammar asked sometimes there is no preparation for this but for 90+ be sure to have 20/20.
Section B is writing , the one you have to be most careful with. This Section carries 25 marks but requires more wrting compared to section C of 55 marks. First up is Nibhand . Read as many as you can and don’t write exactly like that. For 5 marks also you require atleast 1and 1/2 page. Craeful with language and make points while writing. CBSE has strictly said 1 mark is alloted for brief intro (Bhumika) and 1 for Conclusion(Upsanhar) rest 3 are divided among grammar , langugae and what you have written. BeCareful about what topic is asking (mostly current affairs) as once in pre-board it was asked about naional language and everyone wrote about hindi while it was asked about responsibilities towards any national language of any country. Next up is Letter , the easiest to score full 5 marks here .Just correct format , limit , language is key. Just read some examples and give proper logical solutions. After this comes Mass Communication (Jansanchar) the easiest part just simple 5 marks. Learn them months before and keep revising as many answers requires complex definitions and some exact to be used words. Four questions will surely be easy and one can be more recent type . Don’t overwrite here or you will loose time. Maximum write 4 points only is required. Next up is Aleakh which is more like article. Here also follow intro , body , conclusion i.e. 3–4 paras covering atleast one page. State the facts write your opinions while balanced. Be careful not to write anything you made up . Last in this section is Feature which is the most fun to write. Remember it refers to entertaining and NOT FUNNY. When sensitive topics are given you can’t and never should make them funny. Best Strategy is to use Story like format or starting with some quotes. This depends only on you.And it can be easy to get here around 21–23 1/2 out of 25. Only very very good Nibhands get 5/5 and reast other depends on your skills and who is checking them. There is also option to write Samiksha (review) of any of the two course books. However I don’t think I will attempt it or advise to as I am still unclear about the pattern it requires and the marking scheme and I didn’t find any clue in it. If you are confident about it then you can attempt it to save time.
Section C is MOST IMPORTANT . It’s of 55 marks and you can score easily 55/55 here. First up here is Poem ‘s Kavya Sondarya. There is choice but it can be asked from any chapter. Read the poems and understand each line wrt their figurs of speech , ras , alankar, adjective amnd more specially Bimbs (imagery). Also learn the specialty of Bhasa (language) of each poetess/poet as they are asked directly. It’s 6 marks here. Next Question is 4 short ques from a passage. If you studied poems carefully it’s simple. Chapter's name and poet’s name are often asked.
From Section C then you have 2 question so be attempted fro 3–4 choices. This is from where you can catch up time as u already must know answers. Don’t overwrite , be specific and use same words as given in chapters upto a limit. If multiple questions are attached divide in paragraphs. After this a passage is having 4 questions from gadhya section of book. They are often easy and passage is repetitive so infer last year’s papers for this. Next up is 4 questions to be answered from given 5 each having 3 marks. Sometimes easy and sometimes tricky be sure to read NCERT for this as every year a single line is quoted as it is and it is difficult to konw from which chapter it is.
Then there is the most frustrating part and the best part. There are three 5 marks question out of 4 chapters including one value based. The two are easy .Write those strictly in points only. 5 points 5 marks easy. There can be little problem with Value Based which is more commonly easy bu t is tough. Chapters are really long here, read them and write down value points. There are atleast fixed question from each chapters that are asked every year along with IMPORTANT Character Sketches.
