fungal contamination in tissue culture is common but you can control it by modifying your techniques for example before you enter to the laminar air flow hood cabinet wash the explants in tapwater at least 20 min by using detergents like sorbitol 70%, powders like omo and then rinse it with sterile water twice or more then take it to the hood.
