how to balance any equation in chemistry
answer:-
1) on both the side of the arrow the amount of elements should be equal
let's take an example:-
Mg + O2 ----------> MgO
Balanced equation :-
since we have 2 with oxygen so we will write 2 before the MgO on the right hand side
i.e. 2MgO
now we see that the Mg also become 2
so we will add 2 on the left hand side before the Mg
like this:-
2Mg + O2 ----------> 2MgO
hope it helps❤❤❤

Here is your answer.
To balance the equation you must follow the following steps:
Step I: Writing unbalanced equation and enclosing the formulae in brackets.
Step II: Balancing the first element present on reactant side to product side.
Step III: Balancing the second element as we did on second step.
Step IV: Likewise if we have more than two elements balance them also.
Step V: After balancing check all the equations that if they are balanced.
HOPE IT WILL HELP.
