Explanation:

by balancing both the sides i.e.the reactants as well as the products.

for ex;

balance N2+H2=NH3

elements: N,H

reactant side: N=2,H=2

product side:N=1,H=3

step 1:-

N2+H2=2NH3

step 2:-

N2+3H2=2NH3

ANS:- N2+3H2=2NH3

Hence, Balanced.

hope it helps...

Answer :

A chemical equation is the symbol in Chemistry that represents chemical reaction with the help of chemical formulas. It contains the chemical substances that are involved in the reaction

It contains reactants and products.

The left side contains reactants and right side contains products.

To balance the chemical equation law of conservation of mass should be followed that is there should be same number of atoms of the particular element on both sides.

» Example :

 H_2 + O _2 → H_2O \\ \\ \\ Hydrogen \:on \:left \:side = 2 \:atoms\\ \\ \\ right \:side - 2\:atoms\\ \\ \\ \therefore \:hydrogen\:is\:balanced \\ \\ \\ Oxygen \:is \:not\: balanced \\ \\ \\ to\:balance\:it\:we\:will\:add\:2\:as\: coefficient\:on\:right \:side \\ \\ \\H_2 + O _2 → 2H_2O\\ \\ \\ Now \: hydrogen\:is \: unbalanced\\ \\ \\ left\:side - 2 \\ \\ right\:side - 4 \\ \\ \\ so\:we\:will\:add \:2\:as\: coefficient\:in\\front\:of\:H \:on\:left\:side. \\ \\ \\ {\pink{\boxed{Balanced\: equation- 2H_2 + O _2 → 2H_2O}}}

 \bold{Example\:2}\\ \\ \\ GaF_3 + Na_3PO_4 → GaPO_4 + NaF \\ \\ \\ PO_4 \\ right\:side - 1 \: molecule \\ left\:side - 1\:molecule \\ PO_4 - balanced\\ \\ \\ Ga - balanced(1\:atom\:on\:both\:sides)\\ \\ \\ F \\ left\:side - 3\\ right\:side - 1\\ F - unbalanced\\ We\:will\:take\:3\:as\: coefficient\\ \\ \\ GaF_3 + Na_3PO_4 → GaPO_4 + 3NaF\\ \\ \\ Na\:also\:got \:balanced\\ \\ \\ {\purple{\boxed{Balanced\: equation - GaF_3 + Na_3PO_4 → GaPO_4 + 3NaF}}}
