there are generlly 4 methods of balancing chemical equations
1) hit and trial method
2) partial equation method
3) electron - ion method
4) oxidation - reduction method
generally we use hit and trial method
by equating equal no of atoms on the both sides of equation of each element
but I will give u trick which u can use any time that saves ur energy and time
first of all u have to balance metals e. g Ca ,fe , Pb ( gold ),zn, etc
then u have to balance non metal I. e corbon, sulphur , phosphorus , halogens
then u have to balance oxygen
then hydrogen
but remember before going proceed u have to check each doing step
metal ----> non metal ----> Oxygen ----> hydrogen
