Civilians apply to NASA directly. No matter the background, NASA wants its astronauts to have at least a bachelor's degree in engineering, biological science, physical science or mathematics. (The agency maintains a list of exceptions to these degrees, such as geography or aviation management.)

Ramjipandey: but I am from India. He take only a person of America.

Here is how to became a Astronaut

For becoming the Astronaut the the person should pass the 12th standard by 80% ij science.

When the student is passed in 12th then he should take the Admission in IIT. And in IIT the student should choose the subject science and Astronomy.

When you are selected in the IIT, Then you have to study there for 3 Years, When the Study is completed then there is a exam. when we passed this exam then we get the degree of Bachelor of Engineering.

When we get this degree then there is one exam which is the most important exam for the Astronaut, This is a IIT exam. and this exam name is Space science. This exam is of 720 Marks. In this 720 Marks the person should achieve the 580 Marks. when He/she get more than 580 Marks he is selected for the National space search institute.

And when we do the very well work for this national institute then we are selected to the ISRO or NASA.
