To become a MBBS Doctor, one has to pursue MBBS course which is regulated by the Medical Council of India [MCI]. The MBBS program is offered by various Medical Institutes. In order to pursue MBBS program one has to appear for Medical Competitive Examination which is conducted by different Medical Institute on central as well as State level. To be eligible for the test, candidate must have passed the +2 level of exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. Candidates who are appearing for the +2 level of exam are also eligible for the test.The percentage required in the +2 level varies from Institutes to Institutes, however, most of the Institutes consider candidates with 50% and above marks. A candidate must have attained the age of seventeen years, at the time of admission, to be eligible for the test.
