How to break a seed dormancy ?

There are many ways to break seed dormancy:-
1) Scarification - It weakens the seed coat. In this method, seeds are rubbed on sand paper keeping in mind that it's important parts are not damaged by rubbing.Then it is put into dilute or concentrated H2SO4.And finally seed dormancy is broken.
2) Light treatment - Some plants require periodic exposure to light to break seed dormancy.
3)Growth regulators - Some growth regulators like Gibberlins,Cytokins and Ethylene helps to break seed dormancy.These are applied directly to the plant.
