Hello,
Average can be calculated in excel using a basic formula :
=AVG(X : Y)
Where,
X And Y are the cell addresses of the starting to end cell.
For example,
We need to find the average of the data written in cell c1 to the data written till cell c12
So,
First select the cell in which the average is to be displayed.
Then type the above mentioned formula.
Here in thia case the formula will be like this :-
=AVG(C1:C12)
After clicking enter the result will be automatically displayed in the desired cell.
