BMI can be calculated by formula:weight (kg) ÷ height2(m2)

BMI = weight of the person (in kilograms)  /  height of the person (in meters)

If the person's BMI is less than 18.5 then the person is undernourished and when it is more than 25 then the person is overweight . But this doesn't count in children .
