To find mid value of continuous frequency:

The Mid value continuous frequency can be found by taking the average of lower and upper limit.

Mid value =  \bold{\frac{\text { Lower limit + Upper Limit}}{2}}

Example 1: Class interval of 40≤x<45, \frac{40+45}{2}=42. The midpoint is 42.5.

Example 2: Class interval of 1.1≤x≤1.5, \frac{1.1+1.5}{2}=1.25. The midpoint is 1.25.

Example 3: Class interval of x<50… x<60. \frac{50+60}{2}=55. The midpoint between the two is 55.

Example 4: Class interval of 20 < x < 30.\frac{20+30}{2}=25 the midpoint is 25.
