How to calculate mla vote value in president election?

mla vote value= total population of the state ÷ (no. of mla of the state×1000) 
example:
in jharkhand:   mla=81
                        population=14227133
                        value of each mla in jharkhand= 14227133 ÷ (81×1000)
                                                                        =14227133 ÷ 81000
                                                                        =176
