Answer:-
Consumption of power through certain time is calculated as unit.
Power in Watt.
Time in hours.
If , Watt × hour = 1000 then it is one unit
Assume 50 bulbs is used 20 hours
If 50 watts bulb is used for 20 hours
Then,
50 × 20 = 1000 wh = 1kwh = 1unit
We commonly say that 1kwh = 1unit.
