Then, it is a matter of counting the bonds in the correct Lewis structure according to the following simple rules:
Every single covalent bond is a sigma bond.Every double covalent bond has both a sigma and a pi bond in it.Every triple covalent bond has a sigma and two pi bonds in it.

Heya!!!!!✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️
Here is your answer dear........
To calculate sigma and pi bonds you need to have basic knowledge of structural formula. That is -
Single bond contain one sigma bond .
Double bond contains 1 pi bond and 1 sigma bond.
Triple bond contains 1 sigma bond and 2 pi bonds.
Structural formula is a open chain representation of any compound which can clearly show the bonding between the each atom to another properly.
If you don't know structural formulas of the compound , THE STRUCTURE CAN BE GUESSED on the basis of no. of H and C present.
If there are 2n+2 number of hydrogen's then there will be( 2n +2 + n- 1)= 3n +1 sigma bonds only as bond between C-C are also added.
Similarly in case of 2n number of hydrogen's then there is a single pi bond and rest will be sigma . Thus , 3n sigma and 1 pi.Same can be done for 2n -2 H as it will have 2 pi bonds and rest sigma I.e. 3n-1 sigma and 2 pi bonds.
This rule fails for more than one double or triple bond.
I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU OUT.......
