how to calculate square of 111 or 114 by the shortcut method.

=(100+11)square

let A be 100 and B be 11

=(A+B)square= (2×A×B)+(A)square+(B)square

=(2×100×11)+(100)square+(11)square

=2200+10000+121

=12321
