how to calculate the distance between any two lattice ponits in hexagonal plane???

Hexagonal Structure is very similar to the Tetragonal Structure; among the three sides, two of them are equal (a = b ≠ c). Two of the interaxial angles are 90o while the third is 120o ( α = β = 90o ; γ = 120o). The D-spacing and the miller indices are related by the above equation.
