Given: A circle is elongated into a straight line.

Whenever the geometrical shape is elongated and transformed into any other geometrical shape, the perimeter remains the same.

Therefore the when circle is elongated into a straight line, the circumference of the circle will be equal to the length of straight line.

For a given circle with radius r:

Circumference = 2* \pi  *r

Hence, length of line = 2* \pi  *r
