1 mole of oxygen atoms weight= 16 u


Since 1 mole of oxygen atoms contains


=6.023 × 10^23 atoms of oxygen


So 1 oxygen ion weight = 1 / (6.023 × 10^23) u

Mass of one atom of oxygen = 16u

1 mole of oxygen contains = 6.023×10^23

Mass of one ion of oxygen = 1 / 6.023 × 10^23.
