Atomic mass of H = 1

That of S = 32

That of O = 16

So, molecular mass of H2SO4

= 2(1)+32+4(16)

= 98 gms.

H2SO4 contains 2 Hydrogen atoms, 1 Sulphur atom and 4 Oxygen atoms.

The weight of 2 Hydrogen atoms is 2u (1u weight of each), weight of 1 Sulphur atom is 32u and weight of 4 Oxygen atoms is 64u (16u of each).

Molecular mass=2+32+64

Molecular mass=98

Thus, molecular mass of H2SO4 is 98u.

hope it helps you
