Molecular formula of 'glucose' is
C6H12O6
so here, there are 6 atoms of c (carbon)
12 atoms of H (Hydrogen)
and 6 atoms of O (Oxygen)
molecular weight is calculated by adding the molar masses of all the elements in the compound.
SO, molar mass of glucose is
as molecular weight of C is 12.0107
molecular weight of H is 1.00794
molecular weight of O is 15.9994
So the total molecular weight of the compound is
=6*12.0107 + 12*1.00794 + 6*15.9994
=72.0642 + 12.09528 + 95.964
=180.12348
