Hi friend, Here is the required answer:-

Work done is equal to the product of displacement and force applied on it.

That is:- W = F × s

where W= work done, F= Force and s= displacement.

Remember that work done is also equal to the energy required.

Work done is dot product of force and displacement of body.
W=F.s=Fs(cosθ).Work done by a body or on a body can also be given by energy of system.
Formula for work done under different cases are-
W=F.S
Potential Energy=mgh (m=mass,h=height)
Kinetic energy=mv²/2 (m=mass,v=velocity)
