How to cancel terms in algebraic expressionn in mathematica?

Simply queue the algebraic in terms of powers (if any) or the mixed variable with similar variables.

Next take the variables common and the coefficients will add or subtract accordingly.

If the coefficients result in a zero, you get to know if it could've been cancelled.

Trying using these steps in some other questions for practice will boost you capability of adding or eliminating terms.
