Alcohol fermentation is a process in making of alcohol where yeasts carry out the anaerobic pathway. In this process simple sugars are converted to ethanol and carbon dioxide.
Yeasts carry out fermentation in aerobic conditions i.e. in the presenceof oxygen. But it can also function in anaerobic conditions.
