How to check divisibility of 7

For testing the divisibility by 7,we proceed according to following steps :-
Step 1 - double the unit digit of a given number.
Step 2 - subtract the above number from the number formed by excluding the unit digit of the given number.
Step 3- if the number so obtained is divisible by 7 then the given number is divisible by 7.

●Take the last digit of the number you're testing and double it.

●Subtract this number from the rest of the digits in the original number.

●If this new number is either 0 or if it's a number that's divisible by 7

●then you know that the original number is also divisible by 7.
