Solid-

1)it can hold its own shape and is hard to compress (squash).

2) The particles in most solids are closely packed together.

Liquids-

1)the particles are less densely packed, giving them the ability to move around and slide past each other.

2) it is still quite difficult – imagine trying to compress water in a confined container!

Gases

1)Water vapour The gas phase of water. is the gaseous form or state of water.

2)Unlike ice or water, water vapour is invisible. We exhale water vapour whenever we breathe out.
