Rivers are largely polluted due to human activities like washing bathing or even religious beliefs and practices, we must stop all this in order to clean rivers and prevent the increasing pollution of rivers. Sewage must be treated before disposing it directly into the rivers. Waste materials of industries must also be checked and release of oils in water must be stopped. People should unite and come up with creative ideas to clean rivers in India.
