You can enhance it's beauty by colouring it with either water colours or crayons/colour pencils.
I would ask you to shade it. As I find shading simple but marvelous. However, you can also shade it with the help of colours... green, deep blue, brown, a bit of purple.

You can colour the feathers with green colour and inside it you can give it a shade of purple.
The neck can be coloured with deep blue colour.
This will give your image a lasting impression.
For its beak, you can colour it yellow. And then, you can shade it orange. But be careful. Do very light shading. So that the yellow colour is visible at the centre.
You can colour it's eyes with a mixture of green and purple. It will give them a real effect.
