The following methods can be taken for conserving energy resources :
(i)Judicious use of energy resources.
(ii)Use of public transport.
(iii)Switching off electrical gadgets when not in use.
(iv)To use bicycle for short distances.
(v)As India has been blessed with abundance of sunlight,water, biomass , wind,we must use these to overcome present day energy crisis.
Conservation of mineral resources:
1. Wastage in process of mining and processing has to be reduced to minimum.
2. Exports of minerals should be minimized.
3. Whenever necessary we should encourage recycling of metals.
4. Use substitute in order to save minerals should be encouraged.
5. Use them in a planned way.
6. Develop a planning structure endowed with appropriate technology, skill and institutional set up for implementing resource development plans.
7. Coordinate the resource development plans with overall national development plans.
8. Establish proper development of infrastructural facilities in mining areas.
9. Industries can reduce waste by using more efficient mining and processing methods.
10. New explorations should be carried on to find out new locations to meet the growing needs.
11. Products made from many other minerals, such as nickel, chromium, lead, copper, and zinc, can also be recycled.
12. Aluminum can be recycled.

14. Have proper surveying, mapping and qualitative and quantitative estimation and measurement of the resources.
