Hey!!

Draw a ray. With compass construct 60 degree angle by cutting 2 arcs. Further construct 120 degree angle. Upon bisecting the angle between 60 and 120 degrees, we get 90 degree angle.

Bisect the angle between 60 and 90 degrees. That gives 75 degrees angle. By further bisecting the angle between 75 degrees and 60 degrees, you will get 67.5 degrees.

Mathematically,

60 + (90 - 60)/2 = 60 + 15 = 75

60 + (75 - 60)/2 = 60 + 15/2 = 60 + 7.5 = 67.5

answer is..........

The following steps are required to construct angle 67.5

1. Draw a line segment AB

2. Stretch the compass until it is more than half of the length AB.

Put the sharp end of compass at A and mark an arc above and another arc below the line segment AB

3. Without changing the width of compass, do the same process as in step 2 from point B

4. Join the two points where the arcs intersect with a straight line. So, this line is the perpendicular bisector of AB and let P is the mid point.

5. Now, bisect the angle 90 to form a 45 degree angle.

6. We have now, two 45 degree angles. Again bisect any one of them, the we get two 22.5 degree angle.

7. Add 45 degree with 22.5 degree, we get a 67.5 degree angle.
