how to construct a rhombus with its diagonals 6cm and 4cm

Steps of Construction:

1) Draw a line segment say AC = 6 cm
2) With A as centre draw an arc of length equal to half of 4 cm ie., 2 cm below AC
3) With C as centre draw another arc with same radius such that it intersects the previous arc. Mark the intersection point as B
4) Join points A, B and points B, C
5) Repeat the same process on other side of AC
Thus rhombus ABCD will be obtained
