how to construct formula for the chemical compounds like lead nitrate and copper sulphate

Formulas :-

1) Lead Nitrate -
• Lead - Pb ( Valency - 2 ) and Nitrate - NO3 ( Valency - 1 )

The formula will be Pb(NO3)2

2) Copper Sulphate -
• Copper - Cu ( Valency - 2 ) and Sulphate - SO4 ( Valency - 2 )

The formula will be CuSO4.
